Black Widow 03:00
I met her at a funeral. She had a black dress on. But I couldn’t help myself from imagining what she’d look like with nothing on. I followed a tear as it rolled down her chin and onto her chest But much to my surprise, the sparkle in her eyes was not that of someone who was bereft. Oh she didn’t seem to mind that I was staring anywhere except her eyes. She walked over and grabbed my hand and asked me if I was just like the other guys. Then she winked and smiled and tossed me into the back of her late husbands hearse. That’s when I realized that she was laying webs for flies; you know the grief was just a disguise. She was a black widow. I saw her in the newspaper; she had a green dress on. The article said that she was married again to someone who had it going on. He made a small fortune; shuffling stocks. But he must have been deaf or dumb, not hear that death was at his door a knocking. He didn’t seem to mind that spending his money was how she spent her time. Figured it was the price you paid for the privilege of having a trophy wife. Life as king hadn’t taught him anything about keeping the old empire alive. And I don’t think he realized that she was laying webs for flies, you know their love was just a disguise. She was a black widow. I saw her on the TV news; she had a red dress on. The reporter said that she had gotten caught shortly after a gun had gone off. I guess she’d gotten impatient and couldn’t make any legal arrangements. To be left into the money, oh man its kind of funny she got caught in her own web. She was a black widow.

Climbing that lonely mountain. Climbing that summit high. Climbing that lonely mountain to find out where the lightning strikes. My load don't seem that heavy. In fact it feels light. My load don't seem that heavy. It ain't giving me no fight. Well I saw them storm clouds rolling in, and I'm not quite sure where to begin. Should I climb to the top and let it set me free? Or climb when the rain falls down on me? When I first saw it's glory light I thought "This mud be love at first sight!" But no man can tame clouds or sky just pray to god that they stay for a while. 'Cause I'm climbing that lonely mountain. Climbing that summit high. Climbing that lonely mountain to find out where the lightning strikes. My load don't seem that heavy. In fact it feels light. My load don't seem that heavy. It ain't giving me no fight. Well over time I watched starry skies, hoping one day I'd see a sign That would help me know and help me find that sacred old place where the lightning strikes. One day I found a spark in a secret little place deep within my heart where a storm cloud was rolling in so I packed my bags and started again. 'Cause I'm climbing that lonely mountain. Climbing that summit high. Climbing that lonely mountain to find out where the lightning strikes. My load don't seem that heavy. In fact it feels light. My load don't seem that heavy. It ain't giving me no fight. Ain't giving me no fight no. No fight.

Tsunami 05:22
Well, I woke up in the morning; and not a bird was singing. The air was still and silent; until the earth tossed in its sleep. Mother earth had awoken; and she was in a bad, bad mood. Serenity turned to confusion; in the same moment terror became truth. Well after the buildings crumbled, after we thought we were in the clear; Before we could ask why it was us, we could feel the wave upon us. Oh no! Tsunami! Crashing down on me. Oh no! Tsunami! Wash away everything, wash away everything. Oh, Now as you may imagine, everything I remember is quite a blur. There is one thing I know for certain. Yeah, there’s one thing I know for sure. I saw a man standing on a beach. He had sand between his toes. He stared at the wave defiant, even though he knew he’d be the first to go. As Poseidon’s wrath bore down upon him I could swear that he began to smile. Headlong, he ran to meet his fate; and the ocean swallowed him alive.

The Wanderer 03:37
Got my bags all packed, got my plan laid out. Is it risky business? Oh without a doubt. Heading east by day far as I can go. Where it is I'm going I don't have to know. I just gotta… Gotta keep on, keep on moving on. Gotta keep on, keep on moving on. Gotta keep on, keep on moving 'till the sky is dark and the sun is gone. Well don't you try and stop me, got my mind made up. 'Cause where I'm sitting now I'm right outta luck. So don't you look at me with those sad, sad eyes. The way things have been going this ain't no surprise. Hate to see me leave, but love to watch me go. I just gotta… Well keep your head up keep your wits about. When things get quiet don't you scream and shout. The road's a fickle mistress yes indeed. And whenever she's hungry oh she's gotta feed. She'll take the soul right out of your bones and leave you in a ditch somewhere. So… Well if you get lucky oh well you just might find what it is you're searching for in the new daylight. But if it turns out what you found is false, well don't you ever bend your head or crawl. Just quietly hum and tell yourself that you've gotta...
